WORDS. FOOD. FASHION. SOCIAL JUSTICE. WELLNESS.

WORDS. FOOD. FASHION. SOCIAL JUSTICE. WELLNESS.

Hiii

I’m Kelen, and welcome to my little corner of the internet. This is my space to share my thoughts, feelings, and emotions about life through my own writing and words that are inspiring me, to share my latest projects designed to encourage social change and intersectional social justice, and to share the many little things that excite me like the joy of cooking, the process of finding and expressing myself through fashion, and the practice of caring for my health, both mental and physical.

Stay awhile. Stay a minute. Linger long. Dillydally for a bit. Whatever you want to do.

I’m happy you’re here.

Creativity and advocacy go hand in hand for me. I find so much purpose in turning to art, to video, to writing to express a message for social change. This is what lights me up.

HER ENTREPRENEURIAL RISE ||

HER ENTREPRENEURIAL RISE ||

Her Entrepreneurial Risea podcast and platform to amplify the voices of women and marginalized leaders who are redefining leadership, entrepreneurship, and social change.

I created, produced, and host this podcast through my work with the Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at the University of Washington; Her Entrepreneurial Rise was built for those searching for stories of leadership or entrepreneurial success that include people who look like them, share their background, and understand their lived experience.

By uplifting the real and unfiltered stories of diverse entrepreneurs, this podcast aims to actively challenge who gets to be seen as a leader and provide you with a roadmap for how to take up space in a world that doesn’t always make room for women and other marginalized identities to succeed.

If you’ve ever doubted whether you belong in leadership and entrepreneurship, let this podcast be your proof: you do.

Simply Not Enough Novella and Workbook Now Available

Simply Not Enough details the story of Hope, a teenage girl in high school, who is struggling to believe in her self and her self-worth. A story so many of us have led and continue to lead. Hope’s journey is designed to help you feel less alone in yours and remind you that you are enough simply because you are.

The Simply Not Enough workbook encompasses journaling prompts and thought provoking artwork meticulously designed by Kelen Tamurian to help women ease their anxiety and envision their future. This workbook has been placed in the Tacoma Rescue Mission’s Women’s Shelter and the Washington Corrections Center for Women, helping women across communities, from various backgrounds and experiences heal, find their confidence, and own their worth.

This Is Me.

My “why”, my story, my mission behind my book(s). I want to share my journey with you to really convey why I am so passionate about advocating for mental health and why I felt called to write my book. I truly believe that mental health is the pillar of wellness and until we tend to it we can not live a life that supports our overall wellbeing. And so, I am excited to share with you how working on myself and tending to my mental health has improved my quality of life.
